SP Laxman Nimbargi transferred; Nisha James appointed the new SP

Udupi: Following the transfer of SP Laxman Nimbargi, the new superintendent of police of the district is Nisha James. The transfer was made by the government in a communication dated February 20.

Nisha James was the commandant of the 4th battalion KSRP in Bengaluru till now and is a former student of the BA (Honours) and MA courses in English Literature at Delhi University’s Lady Shri Ram College. She is ranked 179th out of 998 selection made through the 2012 civil services exam.

The former Udupi SP Laxman Nimbargi has been transferred and posted as the superintendent of police, wireless, Bengaluru with immediate effect until further orders.
