Karkala tourist bungalow ready for inauguration

Karkala: The tourist bungalow being constructed by the department near Pervaji School has completed and is ready for inauguration.

The foundation stone for Karkala tourist bungalow was laid last year. The structure has been constructed at the cost of Rs 1.5 crore and has an expanse of 174 sq ft.

The bungalow which is fitted with the latest air conditioning facility has two houses. It also has separate kitchen and dining room. The bungalow is also disabled friendly and has new furnishing. An attractive flower garden has been created in front of the house.

The compound wall and the laying of the interlocks has just been finished. The parking facility can accommodate up to 40 cars.

Old building has been retained

The old building here built in the traditional method has been retained instead of being demolished and can be taken on rent by the people. The old building has two floors.

The tourist bungalow will be inaugurated within three days, informed MLA V Sunil Kumar to Udayavani.
