Ranjith Kumar who was hearing on the plaint by MA. Madankumar, poll agent of Sumalatha gave a clean chit to Manjushree with this regard.

Allegations labelled by the election agent of Independent candidate Sumalatha Ambareesh were baseless and not credible, said Ranjith Kumar.

Meanwhile, Nikhil Kumaraswamy who was talking to reporters on the sidelines of a road-show in the district claimed that his nomination papers were valid and had not flouted any poll norms adding that Sumalatha was making allegations to tarnish the Chief Minister’s image.

Sumalatha’s election agent Madan had said that they have pointed out flaws in the nomination papers and on form 26 submitted by Nikhil as it had only two columns while other forms had five.
