CM H D Kumaraswamy to visit Udupi district today

Kaup: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswmy will be visiting Udupi district on Wednesday and will participate in the fisherwomen convention being organised at Nehru Maidan in Kundapur at 5 pm in the evening.
The convention will be attended by many dignitaries and guests including district in-charge minister Dr Jayamala, MLC Bhoje Gowda, JDS leader Y S V Dutta, former minister Vinaya Kumar Sorake, Gopala Bhandary, U R Sabhapati, Congress leader Rakesh Malli and other senior Congress and JD(S) leaders.
On this occasion, the CM will be campaigning on behalf of Congress-JD(S) coalition candidate Pramod Madhwaraj contesting for Udupi-Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency and for Madhu Bangarappa who is contesting for Shimoga constituency.
In a joint press release, JD(S) district president Yogish Shetty and Congress district president Ashok Kumar Kodavuru have called upon the coalition parties’ presidents of various areas, the taluk presidents, booth committee president and all divisional officials to participate at the meeting and make it a success.
