Kharge’s assets increased by Rs 4.91 crore, discloses affidavit

Bengaluru: Veteran Congress leader Mallikarjuna Kharge’s assets has increased by Rs 4.91 crore in the last five years discloses an affidavit filed by him with the poll panel.

The affidavit shows that Kharge and wife Radhabai’s assets in the undivided family is valued at Rs 15.77 crore, while as per the 2014 election affidavit their combined assets were valued at Rs 10.85 crore. Both Kharge and his wife do possess any vehicle. In 2014, Kharge and Radhabai had a loan of Rs 10 lakh and Rs 64.10 lakh respectively. While there is no change in Kharge’s loan amount that of his wife stands at Rs 21.22 lakh now. There is no agriculture land in the name of Kharge, while his wife Radhabai owns 22 acres.

The senior leader owns 255 gm of gold worth Rs 7.90 lakh, while his wife owns 805 gm of gold worth Rs 24.95 lakh. Kharge has bank deposits of Rs one crore in bank, whereas his wife has bank deposits of Rs 66.39 lakh.
