33-year-old gambler killed for winning big

Bengaluru: Winning in gambling turned fatal to a 33-year-old, who lost his life after a fight with other gamblers.

The deceased is identified as Ramesh.

On Sunday, April 7 Ramesh had gone to gamble with his friends, where he won a large amount. While returning, other gamblers picked up a fight with him which eventually ended up in his murder, informed sources.

Rajarajeshwari Nagar police officials who are investigating the case said that Ramesh’s body was found in Krishnappa Layout. He was lying in vest and pant and he had no money. The killers have hit on his head with a heavy object as the result he died on the spot.

Though the exact reason for the murder was not yet ascertained, the police suspect he was killed for money that he won in gambling.
