Mishap near Ganjimata

Yedapadav: A girl student who had gone to get grocery from a shop lost her life after the scooter she was riding skid and fell at Kukkatte Taremar near Ganjimata on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased girl, Sushma Shetty (15) is the daughter of Sitaram Shetty-Yashoda couple, residents of Mogaruguttu Hosamane. Sushma was a 10th std student from Pompei school at Kaikamba.
Sushma had left on the scooter to the grocery shop near Teremar. On her way back home after purchasing onions and ice cream, the scooter that she was riding skid and ended up in a nearby roadside drain. During the course of the mishap, the scooter ended landed directly on top of Sushma’s head. The head injury she sustained claimed her life on the spot, inform the police.
The sudden and untimely demise of the talented girl has left the entire village in shock. A case has been registered with Bajpe police in this regard.
