Oil tanker rams into bridge, driver killed

Chikkamagaluru: In a tragic accident, a driver of an oil tanker died after the tanker rammed into a bridge near Birur in Kadur taluk.
The deceased has been identified as Lingaraju (50) a resident of Hassan.
It is gathered that the accident took place when the tanker was moving towards Birur from Davanagere on Saturday, April 20.
The driver lost control over the vehicle near Dogehalli and rammed into the bridge and died on the spot, informed sources
A case with this regard has been registered with the Birur police.
