Annamali and his connection with Karkala

Karkala: Renowned as an efficient officer, Annamali who recently resigned as a police officer has a special connection with Karkala. He started his service from Karkala itself in 2013 as the ASP of Karkala sub division and later got promoted as the SP of Udupi and Chikkamagaluru and provided his service with great efficiency. He later got promoted as the DCP of Bengaluru south division. Annamalai, who started his service in Karkala brought in many changes and will be remembered permanently by the people for his work.

Annamali accepted his charge as the ASP of Karkala on Sep 4th 2013 and successfully put an end to many illegal activities here. Karkala has the highest number of crushers and the Annamali successfully found out the huge amounts of explosives stored in Karkala. He spread awareness against drug abuse by conducting seminars at the colleges here and saw to it that the youth community does not fall prey to drugs. He installed complaint boxes in colleges. He brought in a proper system for the parking system at the market. He put a full stop to illegal sale of alcohol.

Fans display their admiration

Annamalai, who was also identified as Karnataka’s Singham had a huge fan following. On his submission of resignation from police service, many of Annamalai’s fans displayed their admiration towards him by putting his photo on their DP and also by uploading his photo as their status.
