Opened libraries in 17 stations falling under South Division B’luru city police, tweets Annamalai

Bengaluru: Annamalai IPS on Saturday, June 1 in series of tweets announced the opening of libraries in 17 stations falling under the South range.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) K Annamalai had recently resigned from the police department.
Annamalai tweeted, “We have opened a library across each of the 17 police stations of South Division Bengaluru city police. We have started with 20 books each. The aim is to make cops become more learned, smarter & well rounded. Please consider donating as well if you feel so. (sic)”

Following Annamalai’s tweet, senior IPS officer Bhaskar Rao replied saying that, “Annamalai, You could consider to seek mass circulation of books from Library Department. We have Circulating Libraries in all our Battalions.. (sic)”
Pramesh Jain, a Twitter user also responded to the tweet: “A big salute to @annamalai_k Of @IPS_Association For his unique and wonderful initiative for the @BlrCityPolice Cops @VipinGaurnai. (sic)”
