Jayaram resigns as Chairman of the K’taka State Pollution Control board

Bengaluru: Retired IFS officer C Jayaram resigned as Chairman of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board.
After Jayaram submitted his resignation Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has now continued to make space for nominees from bigger ally Congress.
It is gathered that Jayaram submitted his resignation to Kumaraswamy, who is under pressure to please Congress and JD-S MLAs with positions in boards and corporations.
Kumaraswamy had recently transferred BDA commissioner Rakesh Singh bowing to pressures from BDA chairman and Congress MLA ST Somashekhar.
