Two kids suffer extensive injuries after being attacked by stray dogs

Mysuru: Two children suffered extensive injuries after the stray dogs attacked them in Shivaji Road, HD Kote taluk.
The injured children are identified as Sharat (2 years) and Razia Khan (3).
As per the sources the duo were playing near their houses when the stray attacked them, On seeing the dogs attack the toddlers, the people around chased the dog away and rushed the children to a nearby taluk hospital. However, since the children had suffered deep gashes near the eyes and nose, the taluk hospital doctors referred them to KR Hospital.
Following the incident, the locals blamed the increase in strays on mutton shops on Shivaji Road by saying that these mutton shops do not dispose the waste properly.
