Vigil along the coast continued

Mangaluru: The strict security vigil along the coast has been extended. The vigil along the coast has been maintained since the last 15 days, informed police commissioner Dr Harsha P S.

The fishermen have been asked to provide any information regarding suspicious boats or persons in the sea or at the coast. Checking is being conducted at markets, malls, hospitals, bus-train stations, he explained.

Action against misuse of government emblem

Strict action will be taken against those making illegal use of the government emblem. Traffic police are conducting operations in this concern and daily, 400-500 vehicles are being inspected, he informed.
