An elderly woman has garnered attention by singing songs of different languages

Surathkal: We all know of the recent story wherein a video of a beggar woman identified as Ranu Mondal, who sang as good as Lata Mangeshkar, went viral on social media and started a new life. Her talent created fans from everywhere. If this is a far away story, now there is an elderly woman from Katipalla, who has also sung similarly and garnered much appreciation in WhatsApp groups.

Leela Shetty (61) is a resident of the 3rd block near Surathkal. She has an ability to sing which will impress any composer and can sing in multiple languages including Hindi, Kannada, Tulu and others. Ravinra Acharya of Krishnapura, spread the video clipping of Leela Shetty singing the songs.
