Bengaluru: Save Indian Family (SIF) organisation in Karnataka recently performed a Pindadaan and Pisachini Mukti Puja to eradicate feminism from the country.

Though the main puja happened in Karnataka, it was a nationwide event, meaning, the puja was held in 50 other locations simultaneously on the same day.

“Pindadaan is an auspicious ritual followed in the Hindu culture for the salvation of the departed souls, to bring them moksha. The puja is symbolic for us. It will help get rid of this cancer (feminism); to us, the #MeToo movement is rakshasa and needs to be eradicated. Feminism is why families are breaking at the drop of a hat in India. It is destroying the cohesion that holds families together. We might do it again in order to eradicate the evil that is feminism,” stated the press release of SIF.

The press release also stated, “The Save Indian Family movement’ is a conglomerate of 40 NGOs who believe in promoting the cause of Family Harmony and Gender Equality.”

Meanwhile, a lot of Twitter users agreed to this Pisachini Mukti Puja and posted tweets dissing the female gender.
