Bengaluru: The male rights activists performed a Kumbhakarna’ pooja on Sunday, October 6 claiming that many men have lost their ‘peaceful’ sleep because of women slapping false cases against them.
The pooja was held at Save Indian Family Foundation (SIFF) in Jayanagar T block where the activists participated and performed rituals. On the occasion, the male activists worshipped Kumbhakarna, the god of sleep, as a last resort to get back their peace of mind and sound sleep.
Speaking on the issue a 40-year-old software professional said that there in India there is no system to protect men’s rights as everyone is favouring women.
“Most of the activists who participated in the pooja were charged with false cases of domestic violence, child custody and marital discord,” he said.
It may be recalled that recently Save Indian Family (SIF) organisation in Karnataka had performed a Pindadaan and Pisachini Mukti Puja to eradicate feminism from the country. Though the main puja happened in Karnataka, it was a nationwide event, meaning, the puja was held in 50 other locations simultaneously on the same day.
