Udayavani-Canara organizes ‘Chinnara Banna’ drawing competition in M’luru

Mangaluru: Canara High School Association in collaboration with Artists’ Forum is organized ‘Udayavani-Chinnara Banna’, a Taluk-level coloring competition for children on Saturday at Canara High School, Urwa Mangaluru.

Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the competition Managing Director of Canara institutions Vaman Kamath said, “Such activities for children will help them develop their skills. This initiative by Udayavani and Artist Forum has provided a platform with a wonderful platform for the children to unveil their talent. Students should also take good advantage of this opportunity.”

Chief Guest of the program Ramachandra Bhandarkar, public relations officer of Special Economic Zone said, “There was no encouragement for such competition a few years ago, but now there is lot of encouragement for children to participate in such program. Students should take up such opportunities and make the best out of it.”

Meanwhile, Agari enterprise owner Agari Raghavendra Rao said, “This program is a very good initiative.”

Members of Canara institution Basti Purushottam Shenoy, Suresh Kamath, Ganesh Kamath, member of Artists Forum Vishnu Shevagur were also present.

Anand K, National Head of Udayani Magazine presided over the program while Suresh Puduvettu, Deputy Head of Udayavani Mangalore News Division, welcomed the gathering. Umesh N Shetty, Assistant Manager, Marketing Division proposed the vote of thanks. Senior Manager Satish Manjeshwar, Marketing Division Conveyed the program.
