Army officer from Gadag killed as Pak violates ceasefire along LoC in JK’s Uri

Gadag: An Army officer hailing from Gadag was killed in unprovoked firing during ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops along the LoC in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, December 25.
The deceased army officer has been identified as Veeresh Kurahatti (40).
As per sources, the mortal remains of Veeresh will be sent to his hometown through a special jet and the last rites would be performed here with full government honours, informed source.
