Manipal: Youth critical after stabbing incident

Manipal: A 23-year-old youth sustained critical injuries after unidentified bike-borne miscreants stabbed him at Doddangudde near Manipal on Friday, January 3 night.

The victim Rafeeq was returning home after offering prayers at the mosque when the incident took place. Rafeeq was admitted to the Manipal Hospital and is said to be in a critical condition.

It is gathered that Rafeeq had been involved in a quarrel with few youth from Kadekar.

Udupi Town registered a case and investigation is ongoing.
