MIA bomb case: Aditya Rao sent to 14-day judicial custody

Mangaluru: Aditya Rao, the accused in the Mangalore airport bomb case was sent to judicial custody for 14 days by the sixth Judicial Magistrate First Class Court here on Saturday, February 1.
Aditya was produced before the court on January 23 and was remanded to policy custody for 10 days. As the police custody had ended on Saturday, he was produced before the court.
As the police did not seek an extension of police custody, Judge Kishore Kumar K N remanded Adithya to judicial custody for a period of 14 days.
During the police custody period of 10 days, Adithya Rao was taken to various places in Mangaluru, Udupi and Karkala for spot inspection as well as collection of vital evidence related to the case.
