Zero traffic: Ambulance carrying ailing baby reaches B’luru in less than 5 hours

Mangaluru/Bengaluru: A KMCC ambulance carrying an ailing infant reached Jayadeva hospital at around 4.35 pm on Thursday, February 6 after leaving from Mangaluru’s Fr Muller Medical College (FMMC) Hospital at around 12 pm in the morning.
Saiful Azhman, who is just 40-days old has been diagnosed with heart-related ailment. Doctors at FMMC hospital provided basic treatment to Saiful and advised that he be taken to Jayadeva hospital for advanced treatment.
Towards this end, a police vehicle escorted the ambulance and its journey updates was shared on Facebook so that awareness about the ambulance could be spread and people could make way for it.
The ambulance passed thorough B C Road, Kalladka, Uppinangady, Nelyadi, Sakaleshpur, Hassan, Nelamangala and Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, ambulance driver Haneef was given a rousing welcome when he arrived at Jayadeva hospital premises.
