Bengaluru: The Hindu Mahasabha members have decided to undertake a ‘cleansing’ programme by using ‘gau-mutra (cow urine)’ to purify Bengaluru’s Freedom park after pro-Pakistan slogans were raised here during an event to protest against the CAA, NRC and NRP here on Thursday, February 20.
On Thursday, Amulya Leona raised slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” after the organizers of the event under the banner of “Save Constitution” invited her to address the gathering in the presence of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. Amulya who was arrested by police soon after the event on charges of sedition has been sent to 14-day judicial custody.
The Hindu Mahasabha, it is gathered, has sought police permission for the purification of the venue where the treason was committed.
Condemning her act, L K Suvarna of Akhila Bharata Hindu Mahasabha said that she is not Leona but Corona. “Gau-mutra is the only medicine for Coronavirus. Hence we have decided to purify Freedom Park with gau-mutra.
“No one should speak against the nation in the future. I am confident that the police will take right action against them. We should ensure that no one should follow Amulya,” he added.
Meanwhile, Leona’s father, a Chikkamagaluru resident condemned her act and said that the guilty must be punished as per law.
