Marriage cancelled after bride goes ‘missing’ on wedding day

Puttur: A wedding scheduled to be held at at Shivakrupa Hall at Parpunja here on Wednesday got cancelled after the bride reportedly went missing hours before the wedding ceremony.
The bride, Navya, a resident of Kolthige village near Savanur in the taluk went missing under mysterious circumstances at 5 am on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the Mehendi ceremony had been held and Navya was present during the function.
After all efforts to trace her remained futile, her parents lodged a missing complaint in Bellare police station.
