Bengaluru: Private pre-university (PU) colleges in the city have started conducting second PU classes for their students from the very next day of finishing the first PU examinations even though the government had issued an order to restart the next session of classes after May 18.
The exams had finished on February 25 and these colleges are conducting classes even before the declaration of results.
A few colleges have notified to restart their classes on March 23.
The rationale stated for this is that syllabus can be completed soon and more time can be allotted for revision.
However, many parents and experts claim that conducting classes during annual holidays leaves the teenage students not relaxed and refreshed
