Actor Kamal Haasan appears before police over probe into film set accident

Chennai: Tamil actor Kamal Haasan on Tuesday, March 3 appeared before the police for questioning in connection with an accident at the sets of his upcoming film, ‘Indian 2’, which left three people dead.
Assistant director Krishna, art assistant Chandran and Madhu, a production assistant, were killed when a crane came crashing down at the sets of the movie on February 20.
The Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) founder was quizzed by the Central Crime Branch, who had summoned the veteran star, police said.
Earlier, the film’s director Shankar was questioned by the police.
The city police had registered a case under different sections of IPC including causing death due to negligence.
