K’taka: COVID-19 cases rise to 63

Davangere: One more positive case of coronavirus has been detected in in Karnataka’s Davangere district taking the total count of affected persons in the state to 63.
District deputy commissioner G Mahantesh informed that the COVID-19 patient had with travel history to France had arrived at Bengaluru airport via Abu Dhabhi on March 18.
On March 25, the patient was admitted to the hospital after developing COVID-19 symptoms. Throat swab sample of the patient tested positive on March 26. A test report from Pune laboratory too confirmed this, he added.
