Kukke Subramanya temple priest assault case; Constable suspended

Sullia: The police constable, who allegedly assaulted the priest of Kukke Adi Subramanya Temple was suspended from duty on Sunday, March 29.
A priest of Kukke Subramanya temple, Srinivas has been allegedly assaulted by a police constable, Shankar, attached to Subramanya police on Sunday.
Sources claim that the priest was on his way to the temple to offer evening puja, that is when Shankar stopped and questioned him. Srinivas told him the constable that he was going to offer puja, but Shankar refused to listen and beat him up with his lathi.
