Bengaluru: A video of a three-year-old child crying for not being able to go near her mother, who is a nurse in quarantine, has gone viral on the social media platforms.
Sugandha Korikoppa, a staff nurse at one of the district-designated hospitals to treat COVID-19 patients has been placed under quarantine for 14 days and has not gone home for 11 days.
As Sugandha’s daughter went to bed crying almost every night her husband Santosh brought their daughter Aishwarya to the hospital so that she could see her mother for a few minutes from the entrance. He parked his bike outside and called Sugandha on her mobile phone.
In the video, Sugandha was seen rushing out of the hospital and standing near the entrance as she had to maintain social distance.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya began to cry and pleaded with her mother to come home with them. Sugandha too started weeping too as she neither could go near her daughter nor explain the situation too.
