COVID-19: Govt to register criminal case against private hospital in Kalaburagi

Bengaluru: Minister Suresh Kumar informed that the government has directed the officials to register a criminal case against a private hospital in Kalaburagi for not treating a person who suffered from coronavirus infection.
Speaking with this regard Suresh said, “Though a patient displayed clear symptoms of coronavirus infection, the hospital failed to refer this case to a government hospital.”
“We have directed the officials to register criminal complaint against the hospital and also ordered the hospital to be shut down for two days and all the staff there have been placed on 14-day quarantine,” he explained.
