Mangaluru: City Commissioner Harsha appealed to the people of Mangaluru to stay home and stay alive because the police are risking their lives to keep them safe.
Taking to Twitter Harsha wrote, “I care for my men.. Hence doing everything possible at my end.. Don’t you care for your family? Friends? Don’t allow them to step out .. STAY HOME.. maybe that’s All you can do to STAY ALIVE… That’s why my men are on roads risking lives FOR YOU. Think!”

Harsha also shares a video published by Udayavani, wherein the city police were seen wearing personal protective equipment including eye protection while on lockdown duty to slow the spread of COVID-19.
