Panemangalore woman tests COVID-19 +ve; K’taka tally rises to 501

Bantwala: A 47-year-old woman from Panemangalore has been tested positive for Coronavirus on Sunday, April 26.
As per the Karanataka State’s Mid-day health department, only one positive case was reported in the state today (April 26).
The 47-year-old woman from Bantwal Taluk’s Narikombu who was tested positive today contacted the infection from patient number 432 who died recently. She was working at the private hospital where Dakshina Kannada’s second COVID-19 casualty was undergoing treatment.
After the woman’s reports were out the officials were ordered to sealdown Nayila village of Narikombu taluk.
Till date 501 positive cases have been reported with 18 deaths and 177 discharge.
