Karnataka: SSLC exams in 2nd or 3rd week of June

Bengaluru: The Minister for Primary & Secondary Education, S Suresh Kumar has announced that discussions are on to schedule SSLC examination in either the first or second week of June.

Suresh Kumar stated this while speaking with students and parents on a Facebook Live session.

He also stated that each examination hall will have only 24 students to maintain social distancing and facemasks and hand sanitizers will be provided.

Additionally, students who have left for their hometowns will be allowed to appear for the examination in a school in their hometown.

The minister advised that COVID-19 will now be a part of our lives and we have to learn to live with it while maintaining social distancing and wearing facemasks.

He further stated that the distribution of new textbooks will be done soon and advised students to give their old textbooks to their juniors.
