Tirupati: 2 welders killed as fuel tank of crane explodes

Tirupati: Two welders were killed after a mobile crane’s fuel tank exploded at a workshop about 160 km from here on Sunday.
“The mishap occurred when the fuel tank accidentally caught fire while damage on it was being fixed by the welders,” police said.
“The body parts of the welders were strewn on the road and nearby areas,” they said.
“Fire-tenders doused the flames. A case has been registered and an investigation began,” they added.
