Bengaluru: The fear around coronavirus is reportedly higher in India than most Western countries, but less so compared to other Asian countries. And within India, it is millennials who appear more fearful compared to other age-groups. The Bengaluru police have now sought the netizen’s idea to overcome fear.
Taking to Twitter Bengaluru Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao wrote, ” How to get creative through Culture, street play, drama, song, science group activity to overcome Corona Fear in all spheres of our Life? Social Distancing, Cleanliness, Positive Attitudes, and Recovery Stories to Empower, Aspire, and Increase Happiness.
“Please support and suggest,” the tweet added.

Time will heal sir
Also, let the media channels do awareness about corona, instead of fear mongering— Shreeshail Mathapati ( ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ) (@IMSHREESHAIL) May 15, 2020
1. Use the big bill boards across city to display necessary messages
2. Mandate every shop keeper to pass on a message – build a reward system around that
3. Have a strict inspection team
4. Run a campaign – selfie with a mask etc— Dr Bhaskar Rajkumar (@askbhaskar) May 15, 2020
Short plays ( 10 mins ) in every ward will bring some awareness sir..
One group can be assigned to one particular constituency and the same group can cover one ward in a day or two.
Awareness through Theatre will bring a huge impact. #TheatreforChange— Dhanush Reddy M (@DhanushMReddy) May 16, 2020
