Karnataka: 308 new COVID-19 cases on June 8

Bengaluru: The number of COVID-19 cases in the State has risen by 308 raising the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in the State to 5760.

99 cases were reported from Kalburgi district, while 66 cases were reported from Yadagiri district.

45 people have been found infected in Udupi district while 48 have been detected in Bidar district. In Bengaluru, 18 people were detected, 8 in Bellary, 6 in Gadag, 4 in Shimoga and Dharwad, respectively.

3 cases were reported in Hassan and Dakshina Kannada districts, 2 in Bagalkot and 1 each in Koppal and Ramanagar.

Three people died of COVID-19 in the State on June 8. Two of them are women from Bengaluru.

387 patients have been discharged from the hospital on June 8. A total of 64 people have died of the virus so far.
