‘Say no to chemicals’: Upendra shows how to do low-cost organic farming

Bengaluru: After venturing into Politics with Uttama Prajakeeya Party, Sandalwood actor Upendra has started working as a farmer.
Upendra took to Instagram with a video informing that he and his team have grown vegetables and flowers on his farm by organic farming at low cost without using any pesticides.
“We have grown vegetables like Cucumber, 2 types of Brinjal, and flowers in 2 and half months at very low cost without any pesticides or chemicals,” Upendra said.
“I agree that we found around 5% pests in the vegetables grown, but they are living creatures just like humans and we should not kill them or harm earth by using chemicals. It is not right to use chemicals to gain 10% more growth on farming,” he added.
Many fans have appreciated the actor for his efforts in informing people of the benefits of Upendra.
He is currently working on a multilingual movie ‘Kabza’ and the shooting of the movie has been halted due to nationwide COVID-19 lockdown.
