International Panic Day is observed on June 18 every year to make people acknowledge that their work, health, and relationships may cause them to stress and get panicked sometimes.
The day focuses on how every human being must set aside all the stress and pause once in a while
It is not healthy for people to be in a constant panic, as stress levels are raised which can be detrimental to health and this day is dedicated to this sensation of panicking.
The word panic is derived from the ancient Greek word Pan. Pan was the Greek god of shepherds, woods, and pastures, and when he would awake from a nap he would let out a yell that caused flocks to stampede. Greek authors coined the word “panikon” from this, which meant “sudden fear”
It is celebrated by focusing on managing your overall anxiety and stress levels. Also, to employ ways to unwind and cut back from the stress in your life, as in the long term, stress is regarded as harmful to a person’s physical and mental health
