Bengaluru: Man poses as BBMP health worker, arrested

Bengaluru: A 38-year-old man was arrested by the police for posing as a BBMP health worker and trying to loot a housewife in Annapoorneshwari Nagar in Health Layout.
The arrested is identified as Murthy, a resident of Basaveshwaranagar.
As per sources, the man entered the house posing as Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) health worker and eventually tried to loot the gold chain. The house owner immediately raised an alarm and alerted the neighbours who caught him and handed him over to the police.
Meanwhile, Murthy’s partner in crime who was waiting for him on the bike fled from the spot after he came to know that Murthy was caught.
