Dakshina Kannada reports 9th Covid-19 fatality

Mangaluru: A 70-year-old coronavirus positive patient with Severe Acute Respiratory Illness (SARI) died on Tuesday, taking the death toll due to the disease to nine in Dakshina Kannada district.
The patient (P6282), who had been admitted to the Covid 19 designated hospital in the district on June 12 was suffering from diabetes and pneumonia.
The deceased had arrived from Bengaluru in June 7.
Of the nine deaths in the district so far two were due to non-Covid issues.
