Karnataka govt to conduct sero-survey; to begin from Udupi & B’luru

Bengaluru: The Department of Health and Family Welfare will be conducting a State-wide sero-survey modelled after the survey done by the Indian Council of Medical Research across the country.

The survey will be first conducted at Bengaluru and Udupi and will start by July 15.

The sero-survey is being conducted to determine whether COVID-19 has reached community transmission stage.

The survey will be conducted on sample groups such as pregnant women, elderly, frontline COVID-19 workers etc.
