Uber shuts down Mumbai office permanently

Mumbai: Ride-hailing firm Uber has shut down its Mumbai office and its Mumbai employees will continue to work from home until December
Recently, Uber announced a global downsizing exercise that affected around 6,700 employees worldwide.
Also,India layoffs affected 600 employees across segments, including customer and driver support, business development, legal, finance, policy, and marketing
Uber has a large office in Gurugram, and tech centres in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. It also has smaller support offices in multiple cities.
