Karnataka: 1,843 positive cases detected on July 6; 30 deaths

Bengaluru: 1,843 new COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in the State on July 6, of which 981 have been detected in the Bengaluru Urban district and 30 COVID-19 deaths were reported across the State.

Apart from Bengaluru Urban district, the highest number of cases were also reported from Bellary, Uttara Kannada, Bengaluru Rural, Dharwad and Kalaburagi districts.

680 people were discharged from hospitals in the State after recovering from COVID-19.

The total cumulative COVID-19 cases in the State has now increased to 25,317 of this 10,527 cases have recovered. Presently, 14,385 active cases across the State are undergoing treatment.

The total COVID-19 deaths in the State have also increased to 401.
