Karnataka records 2,627 COVID-19 cases on July 12

Bengaluru: Between Saturday, July 11 evening and Sunday, July 12 evening a total of 2,627 positive cases were detected across the State and a total of 71 COVID-19 deaths.

The highest number of COVID-19 cases was again detected in Bengaluru Urban district with 1,525 cases detected in the period.

Next on the list is Dakshina Kannada district with 196 cases, Dharwad district with 129 cases and Yadagiri district with 120 cases.

With 71 new deaths, the total COVID-19 deaths in the State has increased to 684.

Presently, active COVID-19 cases in the State stands at 22,746.
