Kerala doctor looks after infant for a month after his parents test COVID positive

Thiruvananthapuram: A doctor from Kerala took care of a six-month-old baby, Unni for a month after his parents tested COVID-19 positive.
Dr. Mary Anitha, a psychologist from Cochin, decided to looks after the baby after both parents tested positive.
It is learned that the fear of infection from the baby kept the parents’ closed ones from taking care of the baby.
Dr. Anitha took care of Unni along with three of her children at her rented apartment in Cochin.
His parents have recovered from COVID-19 and completed their home quarantine. Dr. Anita handed over the baby to her parents on Wednesday.
