World’s 1st private icebreaking yacht that costs ₹6 cr/week to rent launched

World’s first private icebreaker superyacht ‘La Datcha’, built for billionaire Russian banker Oleg Tinkov was launched earlier this month. The yacht which costs over Rs 6 crore/week was launched by shipbuilder Damen.

The yacht features a deep-sea submarine, two helipads and snowmobiles and can stay afloat without refuelling for 40 days.

The yacht can travel through 16-inches of thick ice and can travel to destinations like the Arctic and Antarctic  It will be available for charter for roughly $846,000 per week.
