As AR Rahman’s statement on people in Bollywood spreading rumors about the musician gone viral, Veteran Director Shekhar Kapoor reacted to the statement and said that Rahman has won Oscars which proves that he has talent more than Bollywood can handle.
Shekhar Kapoor took to Twitter, sharing an image of a news article of Rahman’s interview and wrote,” You know what your problem is
AR Rahman? You went and got Oscars. An Oscar is the kiss of death in Bollywood. It proves you have more talent than Bollywood can handle.
In response to this Rahman wrote, “Lost Money comes back, fame comes back, but the wasted prime time of our lives will never come back. Peace! Lets move on. We have greater things to do.

Earlier, In an interview, Rahman has said that he doesn’t say no to good movies, but he thinks there is a gang, which, due to misunderstandings, is spreading some false rumors.
When collaborating with Dil Bechara’s director Mukesh Chhabra, Rahman learned from him that few people in Bollywood have been asking directors not to work with the musician which is the reason why he is doing fewer movies in Bollywood.
