‘Birds have landed safely’: Rajnath Singh as Rafale jets touchdown at Ambala base

New Delhi: As the first batch of five Rafale combat jets landed at Ambala airbase on Wednesday Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that these multirole aircrafts will revolutionize the capabilities of the Indian Airforce.
The Birds have landed safely in Ambala. The touch down of Rafale combat aircrafts in India marks the beginning of a new era in our Military History,” he said in a tweet.
In yet another tweet Rajnath said,”I would like to add, if it is anyone who should be worried about or critical about this new capability of the Indian Air Force, it should be those who want to threaten our territorial integrity.”
The Rafale jets are India”s first major acquisition of fighter planes in over two decades, and they are expected to significantly boost the Indian Air Force”s combat capabilities.
