K’taka COVID-19 update: 6259 new cases; 6777 discharges; 110 deaths on Aug 4

Bengaluru: 6,259 new COVID-19 cases were reported across the State during the period between the evening of Monday, August 3 and the evening of Tuesday, August 4.

6,777 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery and 110 COVID-19 deaths occurred during the same period.

The cumulative total COVID-19 cases in the State now stands at 1,45,830 and total deaths at 2,704.

Presently, 74,469 COVID-19 cases are active in the State with 634 of them undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Units.
