21 day pass for M’luru-Kasargod travel to be available soon: DC Sajith

Kasargod: The district administration here has decided to issue 21 day travel passes for movement between the district and Mangaluru for those undergoing an RT-PCR test for COVID-19 and testing negative.

The decision comes after the Deputy Commissioner of the district Dr D Sajith Babu held a video conference with the members of the district’s Corona Core Committee.

To renew the passes on its expiration after 21 days the pass-holder will have to undergo another RT-PCR test and after the submission of the test certificate will the passes be issued or renewed.

The test will be conducted for free for BPL cardholders, others will have to undergo the test on their expenses.

In the Committee conference, the DC also instructed district medical officials to start testing facilities at Kasargod, Manjeshwar and Kanhangad for this purpose.
