Kalaburgi: Due to bad weather conditions, flights at the airport here were not able to land on Sunday.

The two flights were the Alliance Air flight between Bengaluru and Kalaburagi which was diverted to Hyderabad and a Star Air flight which is also likely to return to Bengaluru.

The Alliance Air flight had left Bengaluru in the morning. As the flight did not receive any signal from the Air Traffic Controller at Kalaburgi it left for Hyderabad thereafter.

Star Air flight is also arriving from Bengaluru. However, it is still unable to land. Airport director Jnaneswar Rao informed that the flight would go back to Bengaluru if it could not land in some time.
